Saturday September David Elliott racing team took a trip down the 401 to

Ajax. They had the car on display at a Wal-Mart, Q107 also had a booth

there for an on air promotion. It was a great event and lots of kids took

turns sitting in the car and they all went home with a signed picture of

the race car. David even received this letter from a very happy new fan.

Hi there,

 

My name is Wendy. I am writing to thank David and the crew for treating my son Nolan so nice on September 13, 2008, at Wal-mart in Ajax.

My son has always been fascinated with race cars, in fact he watches the movie CARS every single night! He has always wanted to see a real race car, and meet a real race car driver. Well, what an opportunity he got meeting David. When we were driving home, Nolan said “ I really like that guy. He is my bestest race car driver in the world. Even better the Lightning McQueen”!

 

I would just like to say, that your team has won over a family of Fans, led by a very happy 4 year old boy! Good luck to your team, and thank you again!
