Test Day's go well

After having engine and handling problems over the past few weeks. David decided to go to Flamboro on Tuesday June 29th, Which proved to be good and bad.

We found that there were way more than one thing wrong with the car. But the bad was that David drove the car in too hard with a loose car at the end of the practice and ended up spinning the car around and backing onto the wall.

The crew had to work hard over the next couple of days to get the car back to where we felt it should be and we were set to run Delaware Friday July 2nd.

We decided to use the race at Delaware as a Practice for the Big race against Kyle Buch on July 7th.

Which was good, because the car was not very good. Gary Elliott worked as the crew chief on Friday as Ed had more important issues to take care of, and good news is that Eileen is feeling better!!

    

Gary and David worked hard to make a lot of changes on the car before the heat race,  This worked well, we started near the rear of our heat race and worked our way into the top 5, while going for 4th place we got into the 33 car in the middle of the turn. this bent the front end and David decided to bring it into the pits and get it ready for the feature.

    

The biggest problem Now we have is the miss coming off of the turns. We believe it is a spark plug problem, but we wont find out till next Wednesday!! During the feature the car was very good, but a few times down low the car just took off and almost spun out, we pitted a few times and tried making chassis and tire adjustments. But all in all we came home in 10th place and now have a car we can work with!!

    

Great job to the Crew Marty, Mike, Brad and Wendy worked very hard and stepped up to the occasion with Ed not being there, also first time spotter Peter did a great job working both ends on the car then running across the track to do the spotting.

Hope to see everyone at the Summer Shootout on July 7th at Delaware Speedway!! Racing starts at 8PM
