  David started racing in 1988 with the Canadian Vintage Modifieds,

  "CVM" David's father Gary has been racing with the "CVM" since 1972.

  In 1988 Gary helped buy David his first car. David won one heat race

  in 1988 and won his first feature in 1991. In 1995 David took most of

  the year off of racing to try to save up and buy a better car. 1996 David

  bought Steve Lyons car and went on to win the 1996, 2000, 2001 and

  2002 overall club championship. He took most of 2003 off to work on

  moving up a division.

  David bought a Late Model in 2004 and ran the Alstar series, finishing

  10th in his first year. He ran full time at Flamboro in 2005 ,2006, and

  2007. Winning the track championship in 2006, and 3rd in 2005, and

  2007. He also ran at Delaware, Kawartha, Peterborough and Varney

  in 2006 on his way to his WWS overall championship.
